The mission of the Good Shepherd Catholic School is to provide an educational environment in which all students can achieve success and become productive citizens.

We are a Catholic School operating under the direction of the Office of
Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago and Cristo Rey Parish.
Our Parish is located in the Little Village Community. The Parish and
School have existed for more than a century, since 1910. We are proud
to educate each of God's children in a nurturing and value-centered
environment, offering a family-orientated community with the objective
of inspiring each child to grow spiritually, intellectually, artistically,
psychologically and socially. We diligently integrate our Catholic faith
into all aspects of their lives and promote a lifelong personal relationship
with God.
We receive grant money from the Big Shoulders Fund as well as private donors, our friends of Good Shepherd. Scholarships and other forms of financial aid are widely available. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn without barriers.
Our educational program is comprehensive: a strong academic curriculum that is rooted in our faith. Our extensive curriculum is designed to help students master the concepts and skills they will need in their lives. We offer an enhanced Math and Science education, a reading program developed with a focus on high standards and ensuring achievement for all our children. Additionally, our curriculum includes Computer Technology courses, cultural education focused in our student heritage, and a Physical Education program tailored to promote a healthy lifestyle.
