Living in God's Grace for 90 years

Celebrations of monumental proportion come around rarely.  Chelsea & Marc, winning the Stanley Cup, celebrating 90 years of life and ministry.

This year Good Shepherd has taken a look back at our history - a group of 33 families worshipping together in a store front until the right time to build a church; a group of 62 families worshipping together in the church built to glorify God and serve the neighborhood.

90 years means generations have come and gone, been bathed in God's grace and love, taught and confirmed, married and buried, baptised and sent...

We are at a crossroads again, as we have been so many times before, as we continue to seek just the right mission that intersects the gifts of this faith community with the needs of our neighbors.  Perhaps we continue without a building...perhaps with many partners in our current building...perhaps we downsize to a house church and go out to the places where Godly people usually don't go...

90 years brings with it an uncertain future, but a future none-the-less.  God's grace keeps on giving...
